Sleepover Party!

My oldest daughter Emma decided that she would like a sleepover party for her 10th birthday!
So I set out to make it a party to remember, we discussed at GREAT lengths what would be awesome for this party...

First we needed invitations, definitely my favorite part of party planning. The invite lets the invitee know what kind of fun they are instore for!

I will just say ...
I have had this sleeping bag template from a magazine for around 15 years. I kept this for "the someday" I would make these for my child, for the sleepover they would want. I don't think I was even dating my husband yet... :teehee, BUT had the birthday party planned!

Next we had supper, which after a vote, was TACO salad in a bag. Everyone loves this!
You take smaller bags of Doritos open them and them crush the chips then fill your bag with all the ingredients to create a taco salad.
I had the choices of taco ground beef, lettuce, tomato, black olives, green onions, sour cream Ranch dressing, salsa. Whatever you like in a taco salad. You eat it straight out of the bag which means EASY clean-up!

Emma decided that she would like to have a canvas class at her party so after supper we made canvas art projects. These canvases were $2 from Dollarama and came with an easel.

I think that the highlight of the evening came when I hired a woman to come and put feather hair extensions in the girls hair. She had a great variety and the girls LOVED this !!!!

It all ended the next morning with breakfast and goodie bags!
Emma loved it and the girls had a great time!
