I love these cute Pom-Pom ornaments made from recycled t-shirts!

I saw these Pom-Pom ornaments on-line
to check them out.
And just knew I had to try these! They are so cute!!!!!
I made these with my daughter's art class.
I thought that they were an awesome project, especially for students because it's festive but environmentally friendly.
We used old t-shirts, any color, it's up to you!
First lay the t-shirt flat and cut the hem off the bottom of the t-shirt.

Then cut the t-shirt into 1 inch strips:

Cut the loops into strips and stretch out till it curls:

Start wrapping tightly around a card with the ends hanging out:

First tie with waxed twine between the wrapped t-shirt and card, then remove carefully from the card:

Then tie all around the wrapped t-shirt, then snip all the loops to creat the pom-pom:

Once you have the pom-pom trim and shape into a ball:

Then I decided to make a white one , like a snowball:

Then I decided to use my mist sprays to add some color:
